Fundraisers

Don’t have a lot of extra time after work and family to volunteer?
Household budget already stretched to the max? Please take a
minute to make sure that you have selected Leonardtown
Elementary School-PTA as the recipient for each of the programs
listed below. These programs are a fantastic way to help support
LES without costing you any additional time or money. Please
encourage family, friends and co-workers as well. These various
programs all have different payouts for LES but have one thing in
common…..the more participation we have; the more money that is
generated for your child’s school.

Where does the money go?

Last year, the revenue the PTA raised from these various programs was used to support the
following LES PTA programs: Fall Carnival, Sunshine Math, Donuts for Dads, Reflections, Science &
Tech Night, Boo Hoo Breakfast, Muffins for Moms, Movie Nights, and Teacher Appreciation Week
and more.

Last year, LES PTA earned $387.33 with just 29
Giant cards signups. You must sign up EVERY
YEAR to participate in this program.

Target Take Charge of Education Program

In order to participate in this program, you must
have a Target® Visa® Credit Card, Target Credit
CardSM or Target Check CardSM. You can apply
online for one of these cards at www.target.
com/REDcard or in the store. LES will receive 1% of
total purchases.

Don’t want to apply for another credit card but do
use a check card with your existing checking
account. Please go online and complete the Target
Check Card Application and 1% of your purchases
made with your new Target Check Card will be
credited towards LES.

Box Tops for Education

LES can earn money from any of these FOUR
programs available through the Box Tops website:
1.   Clipping Box Tops and sending into your child's
class.
2.   Shop online at Box Tops Marketplace at any of
the 80+ retail stores.
3.   Shop online at Box Tops Reading Room to
purchase books from Barnes & Noble.
4.   Shop online at Box Tops My Class Essentials to
support your child’s class.

Once registered, you can enter contests to win
additional Box Tops, print grocery store coupons,
access fun recipes, learn about bonus offers in our
area and more.

Remember to send in those Box Tops you’ve been
collecting over the summer and watch for winners to
be announced on the website and in the PTA
newsletter.
